The Ballfields at Craig Ranch
Park Rules and Policies
· NO COOLERS are allowed in the facility.
· No food or drink is allowed to be brought in the facility.
· FIREARMS are strictly prohibited.
· NO PETS are allowed in the facility.
· SMOKING TOBACCO is allowed in Designated Areas Only.
· ABUSIVE or VULGAR language is not allowed.
· NO Skateboards, Bicycles, Scooters, Roller Blades or Roller Skates are allowed in the facility
· NO Fishing or Swimming allowed.
· NO Artificial noisemakers or Air Horns.
· NO ONE or team is allowed to do any warm-ups on any fields that are not in use.
· FOR FIELD SAFETY, all coaches, equipment and players are expected to be in the dugout during games.
- One coach may occupy the third base coach’s box and one coach may occupy the first base coach’s box when his team is hitting. Two players are allowed out of the dugout when their team is hitting, the hitter and the hitter on deck.
- When the team is in the field, Two coaches may be outside the dugout. They must stay in the dugout area.
- The max number of coaches allowed in the dugout is four.
· Never do soft-toss into the fence or netting. Bring a portable net to hit into or hit wiffle balls into the outfield.
· No climbing, walking or sitting on the dugout’s walls or railing in front of the dugouts.
· Do not hang equipment on the netting. There is an area for equipment in the dugout.
· No one is to stick gum on anything in the dugouts. Dispose gum and all trash in the trash cans. Please clean up all trash out of the dugout after your game.
· Parking is at each individuals own risk. Balls hit are not always confined to the field of play. The Ballfields at Craig Ranch are not liable for any damage or theft as a result of a vehicle parked in our lot.
· Violation of these Park Rules and Policies can result in the removal of your team from any tournament and or league play game.
Tournament Playing Rules
In addition to Super Series Rules, the following local rules apply:
¨ Ejections: Any player, coach or fan ejected from a game may receive a one game suspension the next game following the ejection. (Based on behavior and reason for ejection) In addition, the head coach may also be ejected if one of his fans or parents is ejected.
¨ Seeding: 1st-Wins, 2nd Head to Head between two teams only,
¨ Bracket: 3rd &
¨ Metal Cleats: Metal cleats are allowed in the 12 and above age divisions only.
¨ Rosters: Teams must have their most recent official Super Series Roster and Proof of Insurance available to the tournament director at any time.
¨ Playing Rules: Official Sporting News Baseball Rules apply, with each sanctioning body's exceptions (Super Series Baseball).
¨ In the event that rain or inclement weather forces cancellation of play the following procedures will be used for determining a Champion. Completion of Pool Games The pool game results will be used to seed teams into brackets. The teams Seeded 1st through 4th will be declared Champion, Runner up,
Non- Completion of Pool Games The Tournament will be continued on a make up date TBD. The ability of each team to return and conclude play on the alternate date is the responsibility of the teams.
¨ Time Limit - Pool & Bracket Games: 8-U through 10-U, 1 hour 30 Minutes. 11-U through 16-U, 1 hour 45 Minutes 18U, 2 hours. (The Ballfields at Craig Ranch reserves the right to alter these playing times as needed)
¨ Time Limit – Championship Games: No time Limit. 8-U through 12-U, 6 Innings. 13-U through 18-U, 7 Innings.
¨ Infield: There will be no infield before games. Do not hit into any fence or
¨ 8-14U EH: An Extra Hitter is allowed. DH: No Designated Hitter is allowed. NO Batting the bench.
¨ 15-18U EH: Rule is deleted. DH: Rule is allowed for any player in the line-up. NO Batting the bench.
¨ Home and Visitor for each pool game will be pre-determined by the Ballfields at Craig Ranch.
¨ Home team for all bracket games, will be the highest seeded team.
¨ Home team will occupy the 3rd Base Dugout for all games.

8 YEAR OLD COACH PITCH RULES
¨ Runners can not advance to the next base while the ball is in transit to the circle or pitchers mound by an infielder inside the diamond. Play is dead when the runners are stationed at the last base attained.
¨ The batter shall bat until he has three strikes, hits the baseball or has received six (6) pitches.
¨ Pitcher coach shall not talk to or coach any runner or batter while he/she is on the field.
¨ All players shall bat in a continuous rotation during the game. Late arriving players shall immediately be placed at the end of the existing batting order.
The Ballfields at Craig Ranch rules may be added, deleted, and/or amended at any time by the Tournament Director. All amendments are effective and enforceable immediately.
